“Can you fix this?”

The dreaded salvage job–no one’s idea of a good time but every once in a while it has to happen. Such was the case with this project featuring Connected North, a program that uses collaboration technology to connect schools located above the Arctic Circle with each other and rest of the world. A boring, talking-head film existed, and our job was to turn it into an entertaining, emotional story while using as little budget as possible (it was spent on the original film!).

Serving as writer, I partnered with creative director Rick Vargas to find a creative—and cost effective—way to transform another forgettable corporate video into a memorable, beautiful story.
