Full disclosure: we didn’t definitively answer this in this film. But we did share an unexpected story of how dairy farmers in Somerset are using technology to make their cows happier, healthier and–ultimately–more productive.

I’d traveled to this BBC Storyworks shoot as a client overlay of sorts with no plans of being too involved. But thanks to my experience making simple, entertaining stories about complex technologies, I ended up jumping in to partner with the director to ensure we captured what we needed and serve as lead writer.
